Chuchu Nwagu Productions (CNP) is a London-based theatrical and entertainment production company. CNP develops, invests in and produces theatre and live entertainment that resonates with and creates unforgettable experiences for audiences.
The aim of Chuchu Nwagu Productions is to play an integral role in a theatre and live entertainment industry that caters for audiences from all backgrounds and ensures there are truly equal opportunities for employment and investment for individuals working at all levels of the industry.

CNP will to develop and deliver new theatre and live entertainment projects. CNP will develop new writing for theatre and live entertainment and also produce revivals of classical and popular plays & musicals. CNP is committed to ensuring that new writing projects will promote, celebrate and champion underrepresented voices.
Chuchu Nwagu Production regularly raises capital and invest in third-party theatre productions. CNP believes that one of the gates keeping BIPOC people out of the industry is the current level of financial commitment required to invest in theatre, so we are committed increasing representation amongst the poll of theatre investors and decision makers from other under-represented backgrounds. By doing this, we hope to decolonise traditional hierarchies of power within the current commercial theatre and theatrical investment model.

Death of a Salesman, Broadway
The critically-hailed Young Vic and West End production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman will play at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre from 19th September 2022 for 17 weeks only.

RIOTS: AN URBAN MUSICAL

Chuchu Nwagu Productions are exciting to be in the early stages of development for a new urban musical based around the events of the 2011 Tottenham & UK Riots. It's a musical about an event in British history that had bad and catastrophic effects but built bridges for positive change. The story of the Riots is a universal story that we see continue to be lived out till this very day.

the smash-hit sold-out story of brotherhood, returns to the Bush Theatre for three weeks only from 7th to 30 September 2023

Tarell Alvin McCraney's Choir Boy
From Academy Award-winning writer Tarell Alvin McCraney (Moonlight), comes the exhilarating story of Pharus, a young, black, queer student leading the legendary gospel choir at his elite, all-boys prep school in America.
This tender, coming-of-age story is threaded throughout with soul-stirring acappella gospel hymns and spirituals. It is a beautiful, joyous play which rejoices in all that it means to march to your own drum.
